The Bo Regional Criminal Investigation Department is currently investigating the vandalism and looting of the Jotaia Estate owned by former Vice President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Dr. Victor Bockarie Fohe, by a fake investor, Useni Banao, whose concubine, Sinawa Laming, also doubles as the financial secretary of the fake Gulf International Bo Airport project.

Usseni Bana’o, who claims to be the CEO of Gulf International Airport, said he has plans to build an international airport in Bo and has the support of prominent figures in the country.

The Paramount Chief of Bokakua Chiefdom, PC Prince Lappia Boima, offered over 500 acres of prime land along the Bo/Kenema Expressway for the Bo International Airport project on the condition that it would create jobs for the people of the southern and eastern areas of Bo, especially women and youths.

The fake investor, Ouseini Banao, is said to be a Burkinabe who boasts about his influence and investments in countries around the world, including Congo, Japan, Burkina Faso, Ghana and Liberia.

Ouseini Banao, known as the International 419er, promised to invest in the country with the aim of building an international airport in Bo. He convinced former Vice President Dr. Victor Bockarie Foh to trust him and grant them the Jontaya Estate as accommodation and office space for their investment for two years.

Despite his claims to be a millionaire, Banaou promised to provide housing and vehicles for Bo policemen and planned to invest in Bo airport to bring five aircrafts, but later it was found that all these promises were false.

It was also reported that Ouseini Banao, the fake investor who had confidently deceived the people of the country, especially those of Bo, is on the run, leaving behind his concubine, Sinava Lamine, who doubles as his financial secretary, in full control of Jontaya Estate on Bo/Kenema Expressway.

Sources close to the Jotaia Estate revealed to the Global Times that the symbolic Useni Banao will pay the former Vice President Victor Bockarie Foe thousands of dollars in rent cumulatively.

Sources further disclosed that immediately after the company served the caretaker, Sinava Lamine, with an eviction notice asking her to vacate the property, she hired a gang of criminals, led by her driver, Lavalie, and accomplices, to vandalize and rob the fully furnished rooms of the Chotaia Estate which contained expensive furniture including beds, mattresses, tables, chairs, air conditioners, rice cookers, additional appliances and many other valuable household items used by people of decent character.

Sources further told the Global Times that the damage inflicted on Dr. Victor Bockarie Foh’s property by fake investor Sinava Lamine’s concubine and her criminal gang was estimated at $76,000.

Investigations are still ongoing to thoroughly uncover the extent of the deception and damage done by the fake investor and his concubine, Sinava Lamine.
