Derry City moved to the top of the SSE Airtricity Premier League with a 1-0 win at Watford on Friday night.
The only goal of the game was scored by Ben Doherty after an hour at the Royal Scottish Hockey Club pitch.
Derry are ahead of Shelbourne on goal difference after Damien Duff’s side drew 1-1 with Bohemians in the Dublin derby.

London centre-back Ed Hen, 22, was recently released by Bristol City, while full-back or winger Robertson most recently played for Forest Green Rovers. The player has family ties to Ireland and began his career in the Crystal Palace academy.
In the other match on Friday, fourth-placed Sligo Rovers suffered a 0-7 defeat away to Drogheda, who have escaped from the bottom of the table and are now one point ahead of Dundalk.
