The first poster of War Chhod Na Yaar, starring Rang De Basanti stars Sharman Joshi and Soha Ali Khan, has been released. The film is written and directed by Faraz Haider, who had previously assisted Dibakar Banerjee in Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!
The story of “The Truth About War” is based on India’s first war. The film satirizes the state of the armies of two countries in the war. It is thought-provoking and tries to reveal some of the “alleged” reasons behind this unpopular war. In the film, Soha plays a TV reporter and Javed and Sharman Joshi play a soldier. The film also stars Sanjay Mishra, Dalip Tahir and Mukul Dev.
War Chhod Na Yaar will hit theatres on October 11, 2013.
