Designer duo Vu Ngoc and Son continue to promote vibrant color palettes and summery poinciana floral motifs in their “Thanh Xu” collection.

The collection was inspired by childhood train journeys for designers Vu Ngoc Tu (Vu Ngoc) and Dinh Truong Tung (Son). youth Saigon Station in Ho Chi Minh City at sunset on August 10.

The 100 designs in the 2024 Early Spring Collection are based on vibrant youthful inspirations, colorful and full of modern femininity.

In this collection, Vu Ngoc and Son mainly utilized the color orange, which they used as a dress code for guests attending the show. The warm orange hue and youthful energy were combined with the poinciana flower, which was the main inspiration for the collection.

Vu Ngoc and Son expressed the passionate spirit of youth through a variety of shapes, using and combining many generous tailoring lines.

Bright colors and fresh floral patterns are no strangers in Vu Ngoc and Son’s designs. In addition to orange, they also introduced neon shades that have become the brand’s DNA, such as green, red, neon pink, lemon yellow…

The Poinciana flower is one of the symbolic flowers of summer and is associated with the childhood and youth of many people. Vu Ngoc and Son developed the Poinciana flower in many styles.

The two used applique, hand embroidery, 3D printing and other techniques… The flowers of the Poinciana tree are intertwined and arranged to create a visual effect.

The Cruise 24 series is designed with practicality in mind, perfect for a cruise, a dinner party or a poetic afternoon tea.

Flowy short skirts are used with strapless, backless, off-the-shoulder, bodycon or layered designs.

Lace – the first material used by Vu Ngoc and Son – is transformed in plain or embossed materials. The thickness of the lace is also used in different ways in the designs.

The season’s free-spirited spirit is also reflected in soft materials such as silk, organza and taffeta.
