Vodafone Qatar has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Qatar Charity to establish a partnership and exchange knowledge under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme. Through this partnership, Vodafone Qatar is launching a ‘Communication Skills Development’ training programme, which includes a series of courses designed specifically for management and staff of Qatar Charity.
Throughout the year, Qatar Charity’s training programme will offer a range of courses focusing on best practices across all departments of the organisation, including customer service, sustainability, health and safety, and cybersecurity teams, in support of the organisation’s social responsibility commitment to the community.
Mr. Ali Ateeq Al Abdullah, Head of Media Relations and Social Responsibility at Vodafone Qatar, said: “Vodafone Qatar is delighted to be working alongside Qatar Charity and we are proud of our social investment initiatives which are in line with our mission to build bridges between members of Qatari society and to build a digital society that promotes social and economic progress.”
He added: “Through the ‘Developing Communication Skills’ programme, we seek to enable Qatar Charity staff to embrace new methods of working and communicating and adopt them in the execution of their tasks” and then apply them to various community programmes and activities through Vodafone Qatar and Qatar Charity’s social responsibility programmes.
