Russian President Vladimir Putin holds telephone conversation with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
The two leaders expressed satisfaction with the successful conclusion of the recent state visit of the Russian President to Azerbaijan.
They noted that consistent implementation of the agreements reached during the visit would further promote the alliance and partnership between Russia and Azerbaijan.
The two presidents continued to discuss various aspects of the current situation in the South Caucasus, including:
• Drafting of a peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia,
• Boundary demarcation and demarcation,
• Clear the transportation lines between the two countries.
In this regard, Russia reiterated its willingness to provide all possible assistance to Baku and Yerevan in order to reach a solution acceptable to both sides.
