Starting next year, residents and visitors of Vilnius will be able to enjoy a new form of public transport – buses and trams will be combined with boats travelling along the Neri River, Delfi.lt reports.
If travelling by boat, passengers can buy a 90-minute ticket, which is valid if the passenger wishes to continue the journey by bus. The ticket costs 3 euros, but if purchased on board, it costs 4 euros. Public transport discounts also apply to boat trips – lower fares are available for schoolchildren, pensioners and other passenger groups. Family tickets can also be purchased.
