On the evening of July 11, radio stations from across Vietnam gathered in the north-central province of Thanh Hoa for the opening ceremony of the 16th national festival.
Themed “Vietnam Broadcasting – Diversity in Digital Transformation”, the festival brings together radio stations from 63 cities and provinces across the country, the Voice of Vietnam (VOV), the People’s Army Radio and Television Center and the Police Communications Department.
A total of 380 entries were received in this competition, covering six categories: reportage, special programs, talk shows, ethnic language radio programs, radio dramas, and live broadcasts.
The organizers will also present awards to winners in five categories: digital platform application, podcast, best production, golden voice, and best host.
According to the organizers, the number of live broadcasts of this year’s music festival has increased significantly, with the number of units registered to participate in the live broadcasts increasing from 29 in the previous session to 37.
