A Polish Air Force plane crashed today at Gdynia-Kosakowo Airport in the northern tip of the country, killing the pilot.
Lieutenant General Irenes Novak announced: “The pilot of the M-346 Bielik that crashed at the Gdynia-Kosakovo airport died on the spot,” noting that “the pilot did not try to eject.”
The M-346 crashed when the pilot attempted a dangerous maneuver before a demonstration he was about to take part in. The moment of the accident was recorded in several videos on social networks. The M-346 suddenly lost altitude and plunged to the ground, causing a powerful explosion.
