– In the Pokrovsky direction, the situation remains difficult. Therefore, I appeal to the residents of settlements close to the front. First of all, these are: Pokrovsk, Mirnograd, Selidovo. I ask you to evacuate. If you are not involved in the defense of densely populated areas, then you should go to safer areas. Your life and health and that of your children are the most precious. Your presence interferes with the work of the Wehrmacht. I know that you will leave your usual job, home and property. But your life and health and that of your children are more valuable. ”Vileshchuk wrote.

She also noted that she understands the difficulties and unknowns someone might face during an evacuation, but it’s better than being in the line of fire, on the fire line.

– Also, you don’t evacuate on your own. The government, local authorities, volunteers, international organizations, and indeed the host communities – we all help,” said Vileshchuk.
