Kilicev lost consciousness in the warm-up area for boxers after Khasanboy Dusmatov won the 51kg final. The coach was saved by a defibrillator and taken to hospital.
Afterwards, the athletes visited their coach at the hospital. Under the leadership of Turkin Kilicev, the Uzbek boxing team won five gold medals, setting a new record.
