UWI St Augustine holds Term Start-up event to help students ease into campus life

St. Augustine – August 12, 2024: For some students, the transition from high school to college can be challenging. To help students make a smooth transition, New students at the University of the West Indies St Augustine campus are invited to log in to the “Term Start-up” on Monday 12day August 1 at 1 p.m. The Zoom event hosted by the Department of Student Services and Development (DSSD) is part of its 2024 First Year Experience (FYE) event program, which will provide students with a wealth of networking opportunities and activities to help them prepare for the upcoming academic year. Students can find event details in their official UWI email inbox. The launch event comes on the heels of the recently concluded “FYE Mixer,” which was hosted by DSSD’s Student Engagement department. The University of the West Indies’ St Augustine’s Spirit team gave a wonderful performance at the 2024 FYE Mixers event, which excited the audience.
