The NHL is now officially in Utah, with a new ownership group taking over the former Arizona Coyotes.

Along with all of this official news, the club also unveiled its logo, color scheme and uniforms for the 2024-25 season, which will be played under the name Utah Lacrosse Club.

Below are the uniforms and insignia.

It all might seem a little mundane, but remember this is just a temporary fix and all of this has been done in the last few months. They have to get ready for the season and this is just temporary.

The team is still searching for a permanent name and will choose from six finalists including Utah Lacrosse Club, Yeti, Blizzard, Venom, Outlaws and Mammoth.

In Arizona, the team had ownership and arena issues for years and was unable to secure land or a contract for a new arena, so the team relocated to Utah. For the past two seasons, the team has played in a 5,000-seat college ice arena shared with Arizona State University.

The club will begin play this season in Utah, and since it now has a real ownership group, money to spend, plenty of salary cap space and multiple trade assets such as draft picks, it could be a surprisingly active team this offseason.
