After a busy season with As Vita in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Irené Glèlè (25) has left FC Moscow to join USM Kenchela in the Algerian First Division. The central defender is linked to his new club until 2026.
Glele accepted a new challenge abroad, and the pursuit of defenders in the market ended up in Algeria. USM Kenchela managed to convince the new player with its project. He signed a two-year contract until 2026 with the club, which finished tenth in the Algerian First Division in 2024. Although he has returned to work in the new colors, he is expected to make his official debut on the first day of the tournament, on September 21, against CR Belouizdad.

Glele becomes the fifth Benin international to play in the Algerian tournament, following Wasiu Oladipupo (JS Kabilye), Mohamed Audu (JS Saoura and CR Belouizdad), Pascal Angan (CR Belouizdad) and Marcellin Kukpo (CR Belouizdad and CS Constantine).
The former Coton player had a very good season with Asveta in the Democratic Republic of Congo, establishing himself as an undisputed starter in 34 games. A key player in the Nations Cup winning side, where he also started in the final, he is embarking on a new adventure.
