They include Joaquín Guzmán Loera, another co-founder of the cartel, known as “El Chapo”; Ovidio Guzmán López, another of El Chapo’s sons and an alleged leader of the cartel; and Néstor Isidro Pérez Salas, or “El Niño,” the cartel’s alleged main hitman.
“Fentanyl is the deadliest drug threat our nation has ever faced, and the Department of Justice will not rest until every drug cartel leader, member, and associate responsible for poisoning our communities is held accountable.”
