US base in Iraq attacked: Several soldiers injured

A missile attack on U.S. and coalition forces at Al Asad Air Base in Iraq on Monday injured several American soldiers, a U.S. official said. CNN.

“US and coalition forces at Al Asad Air Base in Iraq have reportedly been hit by missile strikes. Initial indications are that several US troops were injured. Base personnel are conducting damage assessments following the attack,” the official said.
