The strongest ones win the cases by bribing the judges. They sometimes set the amount of damages in a peculiar way, not based on any objective criteria, even if it means that the winning party has to pay it. Sapelipet!

With the last cabinet reshuffle in May, a new justice minister was appointed. His name is Constant Mutamba. He declared urbi et orbi: “The head of state has appointed us to clean up our judicial system and restore its image. Nothing can stop this firm commitment of the Supreme Judge. It must be dispensed in a spirit of independence, objectivity and impartiality. To this end, it is necessary to reorganize, clean up, energize its administrative apparatus so that it can fulfil its significant protective role for citizens. Its status as the third power of the State must be recognized.
