New Diary, New York. – Carlos de la Mota, Vice Minister of the Dominican Community Abroad and Executive Director of INDEX, highlighted the success of the Dominican parade that took place this Sunday in Manhattan.

De La Mota stressed the importance of the celebration as an event that transcends political and social barriers, stressing that it is a signature event in celebration of our 42nd Dominican Republic.

The official made these remarks during an interview with correspondent Jaime Rincón in a special report on the “Manhattan Dominican Parade”.

“I’m so excited and happy to be another Dominican who lives his life with passion so that all Dominicans in Manhattan can embrace each other,” he said.

The Deputy Minister recalled that last year he accompanied President Louis Abinader to the parade, which means that this year’s celebrations will be equally well received by everyone.

Furthermore, he stressed his ongoing commitment to the Dominican community abroad and mentioned his participation in various events in New York aimed at strengthening the links between the country and Dominicans abroad.

De La Mota added: “I have always been committed to bridging the gap between my country and the people abroad, and events like this march are clear examples of that commitment.”
