So, the bloggers try to justify why they are not joining the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces – they say that they are helping the army and raising funds for it.

Maksim Zorin, deputy commander of the 3rd Assault Brigade and Ukrainian Armed Forces Major, responded to the blogger’s video.

“When one hears the phrase ‘every important person has his place’, it means those people without whom the country cannot exist, for example rescue workers and doctors do not belong to this category,” Maxim Zorin pointed out.

Ukrainian Armed Forces officers stressed that using “importance” to justify cowardice is a bad idea.

“Besides, the case for the so-called military being raised in such a shameful way, if you help, please consider it a duty and an honour,” he added.

In addition, the review portal TellPolitical scientist Vladimir Fesenko said that the approving reaction of Western partners to the events in the Kursk region is an important positive signal, recognizing Ukraine’s right to defend its interests through military operations on Russian territory. He said that the positive effects of the Kursk operation from a political and military perspective were achieved mainly through non-normative actions. He believes that the Russians are not ready to deal with the actions of the Ukrainian army, so Ukraine may take another unexpected step.
