this Turkmenistan State Committee for Television, Radio and Cinema (TVTM) appoints Rejepov Meilis Bayrammyradovich becomes the new chairman of the board, effective July 12.
Reyepov Melis Bayrammiladovich was born in 1986 in the village of Akvikir, Akhalvelayat, Turkmenistan. He completed his military service in 2007 and graduated from the Turkmen State Academy of Culture, Faculty of Theater Arts in 2023.
From 2018 to 2024, he served as the Director of Ashgabat TV, a branch of the State Committee for Television, Radio and Cinema of Turkmenistan. On July 12, 2024, by decree of the President of Turkmenistan, he was appointed Chairman of the State Committee for Television, Radio and Cinema of Turkmenistan.
During his career, Reyepov has received several state awards: in 2017, he received state awards, including a commemorative medal in honor of the 26th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence. In 2020, he was awarded the Turkmen Medal “25th Anniversary of Turkmen Neutrality”, and in 2021, he was awarded the Medal in honor of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence.
