The Trinidad and Tobago government says a new direct air route will be operational from next month to boost trade with the Dutch island of Curacao.
The start date is September 20th.
The trade ministry said the timing of the service was ideal given that the two countries launched negotiations on a partial-scope trade agreement in July 2024.
Curacao has a population of approximately 150,000, a nominal GDP of $3.8 billion in 2022, and a per capita GDP of $20,501.
