It’s been nearly a year since Trey Lance was traded to the Dallas Cowboys, and the 24-year-old quarterback will make his first appearance for the franchise on Saturday afternoon against the Los Angeles Rams.
Working with reporter Ahead of his debut, Lance said he was “excited” to be back in action.
“I’m approaching this game the same way I’ve approached every other game in my life — college, high school,” he said. “I don’t think I’m going to put in a whole lot of extra energy. I’m not going to play any harder than I’ve played in the past, or any harder. It’s a big game for me. It’s a big game for us, too, so I’m excited to go out there and do well.”
