Traveled the world, experienced emotions

In a matter of days, I was all over the world. I was in Japan and Finland. In the United States, Ireland, Iran. In Denmark, Africa and even Israel.
I have laughed, cried, enjoyed, been horrified, and had moments of fear. And all from the comfort of a cinema chair. A drink in hand. Poof, what adventures I have had, what emotions I have experienced.

And then I’m not even talking about those unknown people with whom I had a beer who suddenly turned out to be young directors. Just, in the wild. At the bar. Without being bothered by anyone. That will happen later. Because now they are young and just breaking through. But soon they will be walking on the red carpet at Cannes. Or they are holding up an Oscar. And then I will be able to say nonchalantly that I still know those people. Had a beer with it. Once. Almost lifelong friends. And if I’m lucky I will even be thanked. For my moral support. Because I believed in them so much back then in Breda. I recognized their talent (because it earned them a drink, but they didn’t know it).
Anyway. It’s over now. The 3rd Breda International Film Festival is over. And maybe the last one too. Although I hope not. So much fun. With beautiful films. Everyone should have seen it. But unfortunately, they didn’t.
Everyone who wasn’t there, and there were quite a few, did miss something. Not only in terms of the films, but also in terms of the atmosphere. Because it’s so much fun to chat with random other festival goers. Talk about the film for a bit, then something else, you move to the cafe, one thing easily leads to another. And so on. Anyway, before it’s all over… and they lived happily ever after… I’ll end my contribution to the blog. Apologies for any spelling mistakes. I’m just not very good with the iPad.
