Koror, Palau – The Embassy of Taiwan held the first Taiwan-Palau Trade and Cultural Fair. This is the third consecutive year that the Embassy of Taiwan has held the trade fair, and this year’s exhibition has added culture and art to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Palau and Taiwan.day Year of establishment of diplomatic relations.
The three-day exhibition will be held at the Ngara chamayong Cultural Centre from 10am to 6pm on August 19th to 21st.

About 30 Taiwanese companies are participating in the trade fair. This is a big increase compared to last year when there were 6 companies. A delegation of 30 people representing different companies went to Palau in batches to participate in the fair. Of the total 30 participating companies, some were more represented and some were not. However, Luo said, “The purpose of this trade fair is to build a network and connect Taiwanese and Palauan companies to find potential business opportunities.”
The participating companies include bicycle companies, health foods, skin care products, and even alcohol and diving equipment. A total of 7 local companies and individual businesses participated in the exhibition.
The exhibition team consisted of 20 artists and 10 assistants, exhibiting 40 paintings with different themes. Eight local artists participated in the exhibition with the help of the National Museum of Papua New Guinea.
The Taiwan Embassy also brought two gourmet chefs from Taiwan to demonstrate and promote Taiwanese cuisine in this event.
“This event is not just about displaying goods, but also a platform for communication, cooperation and growth,” Taiwan’s ambassador said at yesterday’s opening ceremony.
The trade show and cultural exhibition of this trade and culture exhibition will be held simultaneously. The public is welcome to attend.
