AKIPRESS website — Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will pay a state visit to Tajikistan from August 22 to 23.

According to the Akorda newspaper, during the visit, the two sides will hold small-scale high-level talks, with the participation of delegations from the two governments.

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon will discuss the current state of the Kazakh-Tajik strategic partnership and prospects for strengthening it.

A series of bilateral documents are planned to be signed to deepen cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian fields.
