Tahiti, 3 August 2024 – To’ata is full of fun and education this weekend, with the Papeete Fan Zone open until Sunday noon. Introduction to Aikido, volleyball, squash, cheerleading competitions, basketball, rugby, golf, percussion… there is something for all tastes and ages. Despite the postponement of the Olympic surfing competition, the public responded this Saturday.

There were a lot of people at the Papeete Fan Zone this Saturday. Even though the surfing competitions were suspended, the public still gathered in this area, which was originally set up so that those who could not make it to Teahupo’o could still experience the Olympics through giant screens. The event, organized by the Tū’aro Nui Federation, offered a wide range of sports activities as well as fun activities such as make-up workshops.
