“This will be my 26th time attending the Irish Star Parade and I feel lucky to be a part of this annual event which has been held since it first took place in 1998,” said Andy Cooney.

“If you like sarees or group dancing then the Catskills Sarees Band, led by All-Ireland accordion champion John Nolan and presenter Ron Bruschi, will cater to your every need! “Daily Mass has also become an important part of our cruise since Father Frank Pizzarelli of House of Hope Ministries came to our ship. He has a gift for bringing people together, and over 500 people attend his Mass each day.”

“My name is Dan Brennan, I’m originally from New Jersey and I currently live in The Villages, a vibrant 50+ community in Florida. I love all things Irish as my family is from Ireland. It has always been important to me to connect with my heritage. I also love to sing! There are many traditional Irish songs that I love, such as “Danny Boy” and “Catherine, I’ll Take You Home”.

“My wife Caroline and I were fortunate enough to be introduced to the music of Andy Cooney over 30 years ago. I would have to say our favourite event was the Andy Cooney Irish Star Cruise. Andy was surrounded by the most amazing Irish entertainment package with over 20 different bands and performers.

Members of the Catskill Ceili Band include Irish Traditional Music Hall of Fame member Jimmy Kelly, Sr., formerly drummer for the Tulla Ceili Band, All-Ireland accordion champion John Nolan, and renowned New York fiddler Bernadette Fee, a longtime performer and active in traditional music circles.
