Three dead, four injured in German festival knife attack

According to Germany’s Bild newspaper, police have deployed 40 tactical vehicles to hunt down the suspect in the knife-wielding attack.

These vehicles are commanded by the SEK (Spezialeinsatzkommando, German for “Special Task Force”).

Roads have been blocked and residents have been asked to remain indoors while police conduct searches.

The attacker is believed to have fled the scene and police have not yet made any arrests.
