Three children drowned in Aktobe region, man who tried to save them also died

The deceased came from Atyrau with his two children to the village of Zhurgenov, Aitkebi district. The next afternoon, he went swimming with his children and the daughter of a relative. The children were interested in the ducks swimming near the shore and rushed to the river. Just then, the wind blew and swept them into the depths. Divers who tried to rescue also fell into the water. They searched for bodies in the river and finally called divers from Aktobe. The bodies of three children and a 39-year-old citizen were found within three hours that day. In three months, 11 people have drowned in the Aktobe region. Five of them — child.
