this The government informed users that seven book boxes and ten televisions were installed in the country’s airport infrastructure.
Thirteen terminals across the five islands of French Polynesia now offer passengers and their companions a source of information and entertainment, guaranteeing them a better experience in these departure areas.
These TVs are installed at airports that have the network and coverage required for this type of service: Raivavae, Rimatara, Rurutu, Tubuai, Maupiti, Kaukura, Manihi, Hao, Totegegie and Hiva Oa. The screens are used to broadcast operational (boardings, delays, etc.) and practical (weather, etc.) information, but also to share enthusiasm for local sporting or cultural events.
As for the book boxes, they are available on the islands of Rimatara, Tubuai, Maupiti, Makemo, Hao, Ua Pou and Ua Huka. Users of these airports can now borrow a book for free to enhance their trip and leave a book in the space provided for this purpose to share with others.
Minister Jordy Chan would like to thank the Polynélivre Association for participating in this initiative, providing advice on the purchase of the boxes, and the Judicial Youth Protection for providing guidance and organizing local youth to decorate the boxes.
