A CORPORATION AREA man, who was previously jailed for burglary and theft, is now in the dock for the same offences, it is claimed.
Kevin Jones will be detained for a month before being sentenced in the Kingston and St. Andrew Parish Court. Prosecutors said that between August 3 and 4, the complainant returned home to find several items displaced and a window pane removed. A laptop and tablet computer valued at more than $50,000 were reported missing. Jones was later arrested and charged with burglary and pleaded guilty before Parish Judge Simone Walker-McFarlane on Wednesday. The judge asked to see his previous criminal record, so he was fingerprinted.
Jones, who suffers from diabetes, was ordered to receive medical attention and be transferred out of his current location of detention. He will be held until October 2.
