The command said in a statement received by Al-Samriya News that “under the close follow-up of the commander of the Babylon Provincial Police, Major General Ali Hasnawi, and due to accurate intelligence information, the Joint Security Branch Services of the Babylon Intelligence Agency, the Organized Crime Agency, the Babylon Intelligence and Counter-Terrorism Agency, the Intelligence and Security Agency, and the National Security Agency “arrested two persons accused of trafficking in antiquities.”
“The operation resulted in the seizure of two artifacts in the possession of the accused. These will be handed over to the competent authorities along with the seized items to complete the necessary legal procedures,” she added.
