Authorities found 25 bricks of cocaine on a beach in Vieques early Monday morning.
According to police reports, agents from the Puerto Rico Police Department in Vieques found 25 bricks of cocaine printed with the Puma logo and the initials PM on the beach in the island city of Caracas this morning.
The incident happened at 8.30am on Monday morning when a plastic wrapped package containing 25 bricks of cocaine was found on the beach shore.
Authorities have made no arrests in connection with the discovery.
The case has been turned over to federal agencies, which have assumed jurisdiction to continue the investigation and make the seizure.

They arrested a man in Bayamon who tried to rob a bank with a note
Police report that agents from the Bayamon Center Division were investigating a robbery that occurred at the bank at 11:30 a.m. Monday. First Banklocated in the Plaza del Sol shopping center in Bayamon.
According to preliminary information, San Juan Radio Control called the Bayamon Command Center to inform the police of a robbery.
Upon arrival at the branch, an unidentified man allegedly announced the attack through a note. City police and state agents then arrived at the scene and arrested the suspect.
Agents from the Bayamon City Police Department and the Bayamon Criminal Investigation Corps (CIC) Robbery Unit are investigating the case.
