Santiago – Public Ministry, Through the Deputy Attorney General for the Electric System (PGASE), File charges and seek trial against the owner and those responsible The commercial establishments he accused were Terraza Restaurant Águila and Makumba Stealing over P9 million worth of electricity.

PGASE submitted the concluding document to the Provincial Education Court of Santo Domingo, requesting the trial of Rafael Antonio Tapia Calzado and Yesenia del Carmen de Jesús Almánzar, respectively, as owners and persons in charge of the commercial premises of Terraza Restaurant Águila, located in Avenida San Vicente de Paul, in Almarossa, Las Palmas, in the Eastern Municipality of Santo Domingo.

The Public Ministry accused Tapia Calzado and De Jesús Almánzar of illegally stealing energy through commercial premises, with a value of 6,598,389.07 RD$.

Likewise, the Public Ministry requested the Provincial Education Court of Santo Domingo to try defendants Luis Ernesto Aquino Severino and Samuel de Jesus Polanco Cruz, as owners and holders of the energy contract for the commercial premises of Makumba, respectively, for illegally stealing electrical energy in the amount of RD$3,152,078.57.

On the other hand, PGASE also reported that it is pursuing Javier Francisco Álvarez Valencia, a fugitive, for whom a warrant for arrest has been issued, due to electrical fraud discovered at his business premises, operating as Hielo el Grande, with an outstanding energy amount of 47,747,272.88 RD$.
