Invest in healthy soil

Fertile land is limited. 99.7% of our food nutrients still come from the land, and the fresh water needed to produce our food is filtered by the land. We must share it not only for our survival today, but also for future generations. Therefore, the quality of the land and our lives are closely linked. Therefore, how we manage the land now is more important than ever, and we need to start investing in it because we are destroying the land faster than it can be restored.

Restoring degraded lands has rich rewards, but we are not doing enough. Let’s pay for it ourselves, because there is no such thing as a free lunch. Let’s invest in healthy soils.

This month (June 2015), we invite you to challenge yourself to pay your June “land bill” by investing in your soil. Here are some examples of what you can do.
