Thelema is a philosophical school and religious matrix first published to the world in pure language in 1904 with the writing of The Book of the Law.Book AL or Law under number 220), adopted by Aleister Crowley (1875-1947), and dictated by many testifying secret masters, most of whom had one or another conception of politics, ethics, and consciousness, whose operations were macroscopic, not just microscopic, and perhaps incomprehensible and offensive to us humans.
The law can be summed up in a phrase from two books:

In my opinion, the central goal of Thelemites is to discover and apply their True Will, which is often defined as the innermost essence or true process of one’s life. The techniques used to achieve this goal can be grouped under the heading of magika (not magic, but MAGIC), although this includes various forms of yoga (the opposite of magic), philosophy, science, etc.
Thelema also has a strong political, ethical, aesthetic and cultural aspect. While there is no strict literal doctrine on these issues, Aleister Crowley wrote many articles and treatises on the correct behavior of the individual and the ideas of an ideal Thelema society. In these articles not written down as law, it must be so, but only approved, to experiment and find the balance within the individual. If the individual is healthy, strong, mentally and physically ready to fight in the universe (because the whole universe is a constant battle of opposites), we will have a healthy society that will not hide incompetent cowards who are unwilling to change for their own reasons.
