Menna Arafah filed a report with security services, accusing the wife of an estate security guard of stealing her belongings from her home in a compound in the New Cairo area.
The Egyptian artist stated in his report that a Samsung mobile phone, Hermès women’s shoes, flip-flops, accessories and a bottle of women’s perfume were stolen, in addition to a sum of money totaling £40,000.
Assistant Interior Minister and Director of Cairo Security, Major General Tariq Rashid, directed that a search team be quickly formed to arrest the accused, and detectives immediately succeeded in unravelling the mystery of the incident.
The security services of the Cairo Security Service have arrested the wife of an estate guard accused of stealing property from the home of artist Menna Arafa and have drawn up a report on the incident and submitted it to the prosecution, which has launched an investigation.
