The Russian military has reported it has captured the eastern Ukrainian town of Yoroko, as Russia continues its advance into a larger area of Ukraine’s Donetsk region.
BBC Reported this.
Nyorsk is a small town, but its control marks a step toward Donetsk’s two other regions, Toretsk and Pokrovsk.
A statement from the Russian Defense Ministry said New York’s location was important and it was a good idea to control it.
One of the goals of the Ukrainian counteroffensive against Russia is allegedly to drive Russian troops out of eastern Ukraine. Although Ukrainians now control 93 Russian villages, there is no sign that this will happen.
In fact, it appears that more Russian soldiers are heading to the eastern provinces.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said the situation in the east has changed, but Ukrainian soldiers are doing everything they can to defeat the Russians.
