The Production Development Directorate of the Autonomous Government of Cochabamba has called for a “Spring Parade” on September 7.
The registration deadline is September 2, at the Sucre Passage Municipal Facility, ground floor, from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm. For more information, you can call 75814198.
Óscar Velarde, director of production development, explained that the aim of the event is to promote the productive capacity of plants and flowers and to encourage people to take care of the environment.
“Currently, there are private companies that offer prizes for the best float, information for educational units, the queen of spring, beauty products, perfumes, movie tickets, personal care and other products.”
The parade has categories of individuals, groups, educational units, universities, bands and OTBs who will take part in protecting the environment through floats and messages.
The Municipal Green Spaces and Alternative Recreation Agency (EMAVRA) will be involved in the improvement of any green space in the OTB that wins this campaign.
The parade will take place on September 7 at 9:00 a.m. It will go along Heroínas Avenue, San Martín, Ballivián, Las Banderas Square and Ramón Rivero Avenue (the height of Vial Park).
