Pakistan Football Association president Azam Ali said the men’s senior team is still making progress under the leadership of Timothy Theroux, who has been the head coach for the past two weeks.

“Timothy Theroux has been with us for quite some time now and has been leading the team over the past two weeks and I am pleased with his first game at the helm against Navua.”

“It’s always difficult to play away against Navua, but the players played well and we managed to draw,” said Ali.

However, Baba’s performances in recent weeks have raised questions among supporters and critics alike.

The once dominant Blacks have struggled to maintain their former glory, but consistency has become a recurring issue.

Ali acknowledged the concern and said the team does take critics’ views into consideration.

Looking ahead, the Ba team will be aiming for a good result by fielding its youth players against Nadroga in the 14th round of the DFPL this weekend.

Ba FC will take on Nadroga at the Fiji Football Association Ba Football Academy ground at 3pm on Sunday.
