4:30 pm Aesthetic Medicine: Psychophysical Health Treatment by Dr. Roberto Genoni and Dr. Fiorenzo Ragucci Free blood sugar and cholesterol metabolism checks organized by the Confagricoltura Asti, in collaboration with the Asti Red Cross, will take place from 8 to 9:30 am from March 7 to 21, 2023, at its headquarters in Via Monti 15, Asti.
These initiatives are part of the “CRI for people – The time of kindness” project, organized by the Italian Red Cross and implemented with the support of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies, and in which Banca Agricole d’Asti also participates since this year.
These are solidarity initiatives for the most vulnerable, aimed at combating involuntary loneliness, vulnerability and promoting the path to social inclusion.
The Italian Red Cross intends to combat social isolation through this project.
The situation has been exacerbated during the Covid-19 emergency, thanks to the commitment of volunteers from all over Italy to integrate practices of kindness into the territorial fabric.
- These tests, which must be done on an empty stomach, are mainly aimed at retired people from Asti’s agricultural organizations, but all people over 65 from Asti and neighboring municipalities are welcome (subject to availability).
- After the screening, everyone present will enjoy an “agricultural breakfast” made with products from Asti Confagricoltura. This will be followed by an in-depth look at food education, with valuable nutritional information from the Smell Camp.
We are happy to be part of this project and would like to thank the Asti Red Cross
We congratulate them on this laudable initiative,” said Maria Pia Lottini, president of the Asti Women’s Council, who also highlighted that the first meeting would take place the next day, Women’s Day.
- “We are honoured to contribute to improving the health and wellbeing of local residents, especially the elderly.
- Prevention and health awareness are important assets to protect and we will work in this direction,” said Franco Matta, president of the Asti Retirees’ Union.
The meetings on March 7 and 21 will also be used to collect ideas and suggestions for the Involuntary Solitude project.
