We the people of South and Central Eleuthera have something to say and we want our message to be heard loud and clear!
So-called Pastor Philip Bethel, who has supported his drug dealer son all his life, continues to disrespect the incumbent Central and South Eleuthera MP and has been doing so since the moment the MP was nominated.
We encourage our beloved Prime Minister Philip Brave Davis to take up this matter.
It was Mr. Bethel, who openly supported the Free National Movement Party, who harassed the government into renting out his dilapidated old building at a monthly rent of $5,000, while the government had to spend thousands of dollars to transform it into a usable building.
The 83 year old is jealous of the young. Our hardworking and dedicated Cabinet Minister Clay Sweeting has done more for Eleuthera than Bethel did during his time as MP. In fact, during the heyday of Pindling’s rule, Mr. Bethel did nothing for the people of Eleuthera except take from them for himself and his family. Bethel has been MP for a quarter century and I encourage my fellow Eleutherans to look around Eleuthera and point out the one amazing thing Philip Bethel did besides take, take, take.
He is the poster child for the “it’s all about me, baby” syndrome.
We call on our beloved Prime Minister to make the difficult decision to confirm his support for Cabinet Minister Clay Sweeting and disassociate himself from those who have been living off the Government’s money! Bethel has lived off the public purse his whole life and we will not allow this nonsense to continue to be hurled at our MPs! Bethel, your time is over and Clay’s new era has arrived!
