The passport warns these Arab nationals not to delay paying the companionship fee, sets a deadline for payment and announces penalties of imprisonment and immediate deportation.

- Foreign holders of Egyptian documents.
- Children under 18 years of age.
- Saudi women’s children.
- Residents of the Union of Myanmar.

- A company with four or fewer employees.
- Single girls who are not of marriageable age.
In addition, the Saudi government has also stipulated the following values for the residence fees for Saudi companions in 2024:
- Residence allowance for wife: 400 Saudi Riyals.
- Child Residence Allowance: SAR 200 per son or daughter.
- Parent accommodation fee: SAR 200 per person.
- Brother and sister residence fee: SAR 200 per person.
The new policy stipulates that residents who fail to pay the supplementary fees on time will be fined 500 Saudi riyals for the first overdue payment and 1,000 Saudi riyals for the second overdue payment. In addition, the resident may be deported after the third late payment.
To facilitate the payment process, the Saudi government provides an electronic “Muqeem Platform” service, which allows people to pay their bills online easily and conveniently, saving time and energy for residents and their families.
