Tazabek – By the end of the second quarter of 2024, 31 telecom operators have fiber lines [Волоконно-оптическая линия связи]of which nine operators have 35 cross-border connections. This was reported by the Press Office of the Communications Regulatory Authority of the Ministry of Digital Development.
The total length of optical fiber lines increased by 1.8% to 53,628 kilometers, an increase of 948 kilometers from the end of the first quarter of 2024.
By the end of the first quarter of 2024, the total length of optical fiber lines put into operation will be 52,680 kilometers, of which 15,000 kilometers and 76 kilometers are trunk communication lines.
