New Zealand reported 1,666 new cases of Covid-19 in the week to Sunday, with 26 more people dying from the virus.
Of the new cases, 1,008 were reinfections.
A total of 93 people are hospitalized, none of whom are in intensive care.
The highest number of new cases was in Canterbury, followed by Waitemata.
The number of cases in Te Whatu Ora is 337 fewer than last week. 2003 new cases reported Another 15 people died from the virus.
