Post-pandemic, the world of work has undergone a dramatic transformation, driven by trends in information technology (IT) and artificial BroadCast Unitedligence (AI). These advancements have resulted in a 360-degree shift in the way businesses operate across industries.
In Central and West Africa, Nestlé continues to drive these technological advancements across its operations in more than 25 countries. The company recently launched an internal program called “Digital Bar.” The program is designed to increase employee awareness of information technology tools and equip teams with the right skills to make them more efficient in their work. The Digital Bar is a platform where employees can ask questions to the IT team and seek clarification on any challenges they encounter.

Globally, Nestlé has been focusing on digitally transforming its business using artificial BroadCast Unitedligence, cloud-based mobile applications, and big data. Nestlé’s annual IT spending is estimated at $1.4 billion by 2023. Nestlé Central and West Africa is a beneficiary of this spending dedicated to technology transformation, resulting in the development of AI tools for employees.
Digital Bar is dedicated to increasing employee awareness of new technology trends and also provides real-time solutions to each CWAR site. Functional departments such as supply chain, finance, human resources, communications, marketing, sales and manufacturing all have ready-made tools available.
The tools include Viva Insights, Synthesia, Co-Pilot, Mural, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, Power Bi, NesGPT. The Digital Bar, which is available on the Nestlé CWAR website on the last Friday of every month, is expected to help solve IT issues for employees while providing them with the digital skills required to use existing platforms.
These tools are helping employees leverage artificial BroadCast Unitedligence, embrace automation, and effectively use data in their work from factories to offices.
