During Eid al-Adha, the Heritage Authority, in collaboration with the emirates of the region, implemented an initiative to receive and greet visitors to the Di Ain Heritage Village in the Mahwah Governorate in the Bahah region.
The event includes a reception corner, gifts for visitors, general information about the Al-Baha region and detailed information about the Dhi Ain Heritage Village, located at 2,000 meters above sea level, which has preserved its history over the years. It is built in stone, with a roof made of juniper trees brought from the neighboring forests, balconies decorated with stones in compact triangles, and some defensive bastions. In addition to its successful agricultural environment (especially khadi and bananas) and its suitability for tourism, it was built in ancient times for protection from attacks or surveillance purposes.
