Regarding the petition’s next proposal – giving entrepreneurs the opportunity to not pay contributions during periods of lack of income – the FSMS head responded as follows:
“If the entrepreneur has no income, he has the right to suspend his activity. If the activity is suspended, the filing of declarations is suspended, and therefore taxes and compulsory health insurance are not paid.”
The petition’s authors also requested that donations come from only one source of income, even if there are multiple sources.
“There is a ceiling, above which no deductions can be made even if you work in multiple places, and that is 17,000 tenge per month, and the salary is 850,000 tenge, that is the ceiling,” Skhakov commented.
