Iran’s economic situation is difficult and the country’s residents are dissatisfied.

“This is our fault, not America’s or foreigners’ fault,” the Iranian president said.
“The country is in a difficult situation and the people are in economic difficulty. Injustice and disharmony in the economic, social, environmental, educational and cultural fields affect everyone.”
In his speech, Masoud Pezeshkian paid special attention to the issue of justice: “The duty of the government is to act fairly, that is, to please the people. This is a principle we believe in wholeheartedly. No religion, no creed, no imam, no prophet is beyond the limits of justice for anyone. It does not matter whether they are religious or not, whether they are Turks, Persians, Arabs, foreigners or locals. The whole struggle is for justice.”
Regarding the threats against the Islamic Republic, the Iranian president said that the main one is the United States: “The United States imposes sanctions, but if we unite, we can eliminate these threats. There is tension, war and bloodshed in the region. Our relations with our neighbors are weak, our social capital is reduced, our internal integrity is weakened, and the reputation of the government in the eyes of the people is weakened. These are our weaknesses.”
Pezeshkian assured that the authorities will continue their efforts to reduce poverty in the country. “We are here to serve this country, not to rule it. The state must be an instrument of service, otherwise it is meaningless and useless,” he added.
