The first VTV LPBank Marathon will showcase Cat Ba Island on October 19, 2024
The first international VTV LPBank Marathon will be held on scenic Cat Ba Island in Hai Phong City on October 19. Participants can choose between 5km, 10km and 21km routes that showcase the island’s natural beauty.
In addition to the scenic run, the event will also feature a lively music festival and beer garden. Participants will also have the chance to compete for a prize of VND500 million (USD20,000).
The marathon aims to raise awareness about environmental protection and promote Cat Ba Island as a preferred tourist destination. Organised by Vietnam Television, Hai Phong People’s Committee and Thành An Media, the event is guaranteed to be an unforgettable experience for participants.
